Open Savings Account - Apply online with
ICICI Bank 

Address change for your communication and permanent address linked to your Savings Account can be done through Net Banking, ICICI Bank's iMobile app or Branch Visit.

 1. Net Banking

Login to Net Banking with your credentials.

Navigate to Bank Account -> Account Services-> Update address

After clicking on Update address, you will have to complete your Aadhaar authentication. The address present on your Aadhar will be displayed to you. You can edit any additional details and confirm.

2. ICICI Bank's iMobile app.

Login to ICICI Bank's iMobile app.

Go to: Services → Account Services → Update Personal Details  → Update Address

After clicking on Update address, you will have to complete your Aadhaar authentication. The address present on your Aadhar will be displayed to you. You can edit any additional details and confirm.

3. Branch Visit

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

Submit a request letter signed as per Mode of Operation (MOP) (Primary holder signature is mandatory) along with proof of address as per KYC guidelines.

4. Documents Required:

Request letter signed as per MOP (Signature of Primary holder is mandatory)

Valid address proof Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter)

Processing Time: T+1 working day (applicable for all methods)

Mobile Number change for your Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a Signed pre-filled form as per Mode of Operation (MOP) (Primary holder signature is mandatory)
• One valid OVD as per KYC guidelines.
• Valid address proof-OVD (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter)
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

Date of Birth change for your Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a Signed pre-filled form
• One valid OVD where DOB is mentioned
• List of OVD for DOB update - Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID
• (If no OVD other than Aadhaar, then Aadhaar along with PAN copy for DOB proof Processing Time: T+1 working day)

Name addition of Joint holder for your Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a duly signed and pre-filled form for Name addition, signed by all the holder
• PAN Card of New applicant
• Any one Valid address proof of new applicant -OVD (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter)
• Duly filled Nomination form signed by all the holder
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

Name deletion of Joint holder for your Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a duly signed and pre-filled form for Name deletion, signed by all the holder
• PAN Card of New applicant
• Any one Valid address proof of new applicant -OVD (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter)
• Duly filled Nomination form signed by all the holder
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

Account closure of Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a duly signed and pre-filled account closure form, signed by all the holder
• Mention valid account number to transfer the closure proceeds of the account
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

To activate your Dormant/Inoperative Savings Account,

1. Net Banking:

• Login to Net Banking with your credentials.
• Navigate to Customer Service -> Bank Account -> Account Modification Related -> Activate your Dormant Account

When clicked on the "Dormant account activation" all dormant accounts will be displayed. You can select any one of the dormant accounts. post Re-KYC via video KYC, details will be updated and a service request number will be raised for processing. Additionally, this service is not applicable for Joint or Minor accounts.

2. ICICI Bank's iMobile app:

• Login to ICICI Bank's iMobile app.
• Go to: Services → Account Services → Activate Dormant Account

When clicked on the "Dormant account activation" all dormant accounts will be displayed. You can select any one of the dormant accounts. post Re-KYC via video KYC, details will be updated and a service request number will be raised for processing. Additionally, this service is not applicable for Joint or Minor accounts.

3. Branch Visit:

• Submit a duly signed Re-kyc cum Dormancy removal Pre-filled form
• Any one Valid OVD (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter) if any changes in the existing detail of the account.
• PAN Card if not updated in the account
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

MOP change of Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a duly signed and pre-filled MOP change form with signature of holder(s)
• Select the new MOP of the account
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

Mother Maiden name update of Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a duly signed request letter
• Photo ID proof (maiden name and/ or after marriage) i.e. Any one Valid OVD (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter)
• Marriage certificate/ Official Gazette copy
• Processing Time: T+1 working day 

Salutation (rank) update for Defence force personnel of Savings Account can only be done by Visiting Branch

Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.

• Submit a duly signed request letter
• Photo ID proof (Any one Valid OVD (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID,NREGA Card, NPRA Letter)
• Attach Letter (official stationery) from competent authority with new rank OR Service Certificate having name, current rank, Service no., etc
• Processing Time: T+1 working day
