Easy Application Process

Apply for the Companion Card directly via ICICI Bank's iMobile app under the Cards and Forex section in just a few taps—no need to visit a branch.

Eligibility Criteria

Available for ICICI Bank customers. You can also apply for close relatives (parents, spouse, children) by submitting valid proof of relationship like passport or marriage certificate.

Reload Anytime, Anywhere

The Companion Card has no limit on reloads. Just ensure the total balance doesn’t exceed ₹1,00,000 at any time. No minimum load amount required.

Multiple Use Cases

Withdraw cash at ATMs, pay at merchant outlets or shop online—your Companion Card supports all VISA-enabled transactions across India with EMV chip security.

What are the main benefits of the Companion Card?

The Companion Card offers easy tracking of expenses, no minimum balance requirement, VISA acceptance, reload flexibility, and tap and pay options with the Companion+ variant.

How do I apply for a Companion Card? 

You can apply via the iMobile Pay app. Go to ‘Cards and Forex’ > ‘Prepaid Cards’ > Select the card and complete your application in a few steps.

What is the validity period of the card?

Both Companion and Companion+ cards are valid for 5 years from the date of issuance as printed on the card.

Can I link my card to Net Banking or iMobile Pay?

Yes. Use the ‘Link Forex Prepaid Card’ option in Net Banking or iMobile Pay and follow simple steps to link your own or a close relative’s card.

What are the card fees and charges?

The Companion Card has a ₹199 joining fee and ₹249 annual fee. Companion+ has ₹499 joining and ₹449 annual fee. ATM withdrawals and inactivity may attract nominal charges.
