What is the ICICI Expression Wave Debit Card?

The ICICI Expression Wave Debit Card lets you choose from 200+ designs or upload your own image. It features Visa Paywave technology for secure, contactless payments with a simple wave at compatible terminals.

What is Visa Paywave technology?

Visa Paywave is a contactless payment technology that allows you to make payments by simply waving your card in front of a point-of-sale terminal, without inserting or swiping the card. 

How should I use the Expressions Wave Debit Card?

To pay, wave your card within 4 cm of the merchant terminal, enter your 4-digit ATM PIN, and the transaction will be processed. 

Is the card safe from accidental transactions?

The chances for an accidental transaction are less as the merchant should enter in the amount, and your PIN is required for every transaction. 

Will I be charged double if I wave the card more than once?

No. Even if you wave or tap the card accidentally more than once, you will be charged only once for the transaction. ​

Can I use the card for payments when it is in my purse? 

Yes, as long as the card is within 4 cm of the terminal and no metal objects obstruct it, you can make contactless payments even with your card in a purse or wallet.

What is the validity of the Expressions Wave Debit Card?

The Expressions Debit Card is valid for 7 years from the date of issue. ​

What should I do if the card is lost/stolen?

If your Expressions Debit Card is stolen or misplaced, you should inform ICICI Bank's 24-hour customer care or the nearest branch immediately.

What are the criteria for availing domestic lounge access?

To enjoy domestic lounge access, you must spend ₹10,000 or more on your Expressions Paywave Debit Card in a calendar quarter. This entitles you to avail the lounge access benefit in the following calendar quarter. The benefit is exclusively applicable to the primary Cardholder.
