Some green initiatives at the Bank’s premises

In Fiscal 2025, ICICI Bank installed AWG (Atmospheric Water Generators) units at four more premises: One each in Bengaluru and Mumbai and two in Chennai. The Bank had installed the first AWG at its regional office in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, in March 2023. These five installations have a cumulative capacity of producing 8,000 litres of potable water per day and these benefit about 4,200 employees. This initiative has reduced ICICI Bank’s reliance on packaged water while effectively utilising atmospheric moisture

IGBC Platinum rated regional office in Gachibowli, Hyderabad significantly contributing to water management by using Atmospheric Water Generator, which produces 500 litres of clean potable water every day from atmospheric moisture. Environmental initiatives taken towards energy efficiency, water conservation and waste management, reflects our commitment towards making operations sustainable

ICICI Bank’s regional office in Pune has a provision for 40% more fresh air than required. 38% of the water requirement at this office is met through rainwater harvesting mechanisms

The commissioning of the Indirect-Direct Evaporative Cooling system at ICICI Bank’s office in Jaipur has led to power saving of up to 30% in summers and 65% in winters, in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems

India’s first ‘IGBC’ Platinum Net Zero Rated Building, ICICI Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) building at Jodhpur, was commissioned in September 2019. It uses only renewable energy and harnesses available natural resources. It also serves as a model for recycling and reusing of water and waste, without compromising on aesthetics and functionality

ICICI Bank’s new digital banking space ‘Digiverse’ at BKC in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is powered by green energy

The Bank has introduced several measures to enable waste reduction and recycling at the Service Centre in BKC, Mumbai. These have led to the Service Centre getting a rating of ‘Net Zero Waste’ in the category of ‘Net Zero Waste to Landfill (Operations)’ by IGBC.
