Using Your ICICI Bank Companion Card

The ICICI Bank Companion Card is widely accepted online as well as offline. It can be used for cash withdrawals at ATMs, merchant payments and seamless online transactions.

Using the Companion Card at merchant outlets:

Here are the steps of using the ICICI Bank Companion Card at merchant outlets (i.e. stores, restaurants etc.) 

1. The merchant swipes the Card on the POS terminal (swipe machine) and enters the invoice amount.


2. You enter your 4-digit PIN (for chip- and PIN-enabled terminals). 


3. A transaction slip will be generated.


4. You sign the merchant copy of the slip- your signature must match the one on the back of your Card. 


5. Collect your Companion Card, customer copy of the slip and invoice from the merchant.

Using the Companion Card for ATM cash withdrawals:

Here are the steps of using the ICICI Bank Companion Card at ATMs to withdraw cash:

1. Insert the Card in the ATM and enter your 4-digit PIN. 


2. Select ‘Cash Withdrawal’.


3. Choose ‘Savings Account’ as the account type. 


4. Enter the withdrawal amount and confirm.


5. Collect your cash, Card and receipt (if applicable). 

Using the Companion Card for online transactions:

Here are the steps of using the ICICI Bank Companion Card for online transactions: 

1. Log into the merchant website and select the desired products/services.


2. Choose ‘Debit Card’ as the payment mode. 


3. Enter your Card details and billing information.


4. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number for authentication. 


5. Confirm to complete the payment.
