Odyssey Smart City Card

If your Odyssey Card is lost, stolen or damaged, you need to immediately block the Card by calling Customer Care on 1800 266 9849. You can apply for a refund in case your Card has balance on it. Please carry one KYC document (PAN Card or Aadhaar Card) and a cancelled cheque to verify your identity and bank account for processing the refund of the balance amount. Issuance of the Odyssey Card has been temporarily suspended until further notice. We regret the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

This card has a validity of 5 years. Post Card expiry, you may hand over the physical Card at the location given below. If your Card has balance on it, please carry one KYC document (PAN Card or Aadhaar Card) and a cancelled cheque to verify your identity and bank account for processing the refund of the balance amount on your Card.

The Card can be used for making payments at:

• Buying tickets and passes for travel on city buses

• Payment of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) taxes and bills

• At shopping malls and restaurants and for e-commerce transactions.

There are 2 types of balances on your Card:

• The total balance on your Card (called ‘Total Account Balance’)

• The balance on your Card that is available for the purpose of travel on city buses (called ‘Card Balance’).

You can use the Total Account Balance for all routine payments like shopping, at restaurants etc. The Card Balance can be used for travel purposes.

You can activate your card by doing a simple PIN SET and a top-up of Rs 100.

Yes, your Odyssey Card is safe to use as your non-travel transactions are authenticated by using a PIN.

There are 2 types of balances on your card:

The total balance of your card which is exactly equal to the recharge amount is called the Total Account Balance.

The balance on your card which is available for purpose of travel on city buses is called the Card Balance.

You can recharge your Card by paying cash at any issuance counter. You can also recharge the Card by doing an online top-up on the customer portal. The first-time recharge is of minimum ₹100. Subsequent recharges can be in multiples of ₹10. The maximum balance the Card can have is ₹10,000.

Once your Card balance is zero or you are unable to use your Card, you can submit the Card at the location below:
