Worried About Card Misuse? You’re Protected with Zero Liability

 

Shop worry-free with your ICICI Bank Debit Card—at stores or online. Our Zero Liability feature ensures you are not held responsible for unauthorised purchases made using your lost or stolen Debit Card, once the loss is reported.

 

Key Highlights:

 

1. Zero liability for unauthorised transactions after notifying the Bank

 

2. PIN Based and OTP Based transactions are not covered under this

 

3. Applicable from August 1, 2011, with the following conditions:

 

  • The loss must be reported within 15 days of the incident

  • Your mobile number must be updated with the Bank to receive transaction alerts

  • At least one purchase transaction should have been made in the last 90 days before reporting the loss

 

 

How to Report Card Loss or Fraud:

Simply call our 24x7 Customer Care within 15 days of the incident. If eligible, the unauthorised amount will be restored to your account after verification.

 

 

Documents Required for Claim:

To process your Zero Liability request, please submit:

  •  A written application with your ICICI Bank Debit Card number, account number, and date of card loss

  • A copy of the police complaint or FIR

  • A copy of your passport, if the fraud occurred outside India
