ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Claim Process

To report your claim you can:

  • Visit the claims section of ICICI Prudential Life website – www.iciciprulife.com for online claim intimation or Report claim by filling online form
  • Call ICICI Prudential Life’s 24x7 Claim Care number on 1800 2660 or
  • Visit your nearest ICICI Prudential Life Insurance branch
  • E-mail at claimsupport@iciciprulife.com
  • SMS to 56767 from your registered mobile number. Your claim will be formally registered only after we receive a written claim intimation at our Branch/Claims Cell. For calls within India, call Claim Care number 1800 2660 (10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, except national holidays. Overseas customers can call on +91 80693 85555.

The required documents vary based on the type of claim (death, maturity, or health). Generally, you will need:

Mandatory documents required for claim registration:

  • Duly filled and signed Claimant Statement Form
  • Recent photograph of the claimant
  • Copy of Death Certificate of the Life Assured, issued by government authority
  • Claimant photo identity proof
  • Claimant address proof (Any one of the following: Aadhar Card, Valid Passport or Driver's License, Voters ID are considered as proofs)
  • Pan card / Form 60 of the claimant
  • Copy of cancelled cheque / bank statement / bank passbook with printed account number and name of the claimant
  • Duly filled and signed Payout mandate form with bank account details of the claimant

Follow these steps to report a claim:

  • Branch: Submit the documents at the nearest ICICI Prudential Life Insurance branch. To locate the nearest branch, visit www.iciciprulife.com/branchlocator
  • Website: Upload the documents online in claims section of the website www.iciciprulife.com> claims > file a claim
  • WhatsApp: Type ‘Claim' on WhatsApp number 9920667766 and get an option to check the claim status
  • Mail us: Courier the documents to ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Limited. 9th Floor, B Wing, office No. 906, BSEL Tech Park, Opp. Vashi Station, Section 30,Vashi, Navi Mumbai 400706

The benefit is paid to:

  • The nominee mentioned in the policy
  • The legal heir if no nominee is available

In such cases, the claim benefit is paid to the legal heir as per succession laws. The claimant must provide legal proof of relationship with the deceased policyholder.

The claim amount is transferred via:

  • Electronic transfer to the registered bank account of the beneficiary
  • Cheque payment, if electronic transfer is not possible

Claims should be reported as soon as possible after the event. Delays may require additional documentation

A claim form is a mandatory document required to process the claim. It can be downloaded from the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance website or collected from the nearest branch

The insurer may request additional documents: Based on the documents submitted by you, the claim was reviewed by the claim assessor. Requirement for additional documents have been raised for the claim assessor to evaluate and decide the claim. Submitting these documents will only speed up the claim process.
