How much time will it take for the Card to be delivered?

It may take up to 5 days, depending on your location. You can ask the Branch team to provide the tracking number (AWB) on the next working day after placing your request, so you can check where the Card has reached.

Do I need to activate the new Card or transfer balances from the existing Card to the new Card?

An activated Card will be delivered to you. Balance(s) from the existing Card will also be transferred automatically when the Branch team initiates the renewal request.

What is the difference between a personalised and non-personalised Card?

A personalised Card has the Cardholder’s name printed on it. Non-personalised Cards do not have names printed on them. A personalised Card will be delivered to your address within 5 days, while a non-personalised Card can be handed over by the Branch team instantly. Personalised Cards have a validity of 7 years, whereas validity of a non-personalised Card depends on that of the stock of Cards available at the Branch, since older Cards have a validity of 5 years or less.

If my passport has expired and I have renewed my passport, how should I request for my Card to be renewed?

Provide the scanned copy of your latest passport. The old passport number must be present and visible in the scanned copy.

Will my existing transaction settings and limits be applicable to the new Card?

No. You need to enable / disable settings and set limits as per your preference through Net Banking or iMobile for your renewed Card.

Forex Cards FAQ’s

What will be the validity of my Forex Prepaid Card post renewal?

The validity will depend on the type of renewal. If you are opting for home delivery, you will receive a personalised Card (with your name printed on it) which will have a validity of 7 years. If you opt for a quick non-personalised Card from the Branch, then its validity will be that of the stock of Cards available at the Branch.

If my passport has expired, how do I update it against my renewed Card?

Visit any ICICI Bank Branch and place a request for Card renewal. After your Card is renewed, ask the Branch to update the passport and any other details that you wish to update, against the new Card.

What are the valid documents that can be used to request for Card renewal?

Passport and PAN Card are valid documents. Use the document that is updated in the Bank’s records against your existing Card.
