What Does Two-Wheeler Insurance Cover?
  • Natural Disasters: Covers damage from natural disasters like floods, storms and earthquakes
  • Man-Made Disasters: Coverage against theft, riots, terrorism and accidents
  • Personal Accident Cover: Offers personal accident coverage up to ₹15 lakh for owner or driver and optional cover for co-passengers

**No Claim Bonus (NCB) can only be availed if you renew your policy within 90 days post-expiration. This benefit reduces your premium and applies solely to the 'Own Damage' portion of the policy. In case you switch from another insurer, you may carry over your NCB by presenting legitimate evidence like a renewal notice or confirmation letter stating your NCB eligibility. Furthermore, when choosing a policy duration of two years or longer, your NCB remains valid throughout that span, given zero claims occur during the term.

Important Policy Exclusions to Note
  • General Wear and Tear: The policy will not cover regular wear and tear or ageing of the vehicle
  • Depreciation: Any reduction in value resulting from depreciation or subsequent losses will not be included in the coverage
  • Mechanical or Electrical Malfunctions: Issues related to the breakdown of mechanical or electrical parts are not covered
  • Tyre and Tube Damage: Expenses associated with replacing tyres and tubes will only be partially reimbursed (up to 50%) when the vehicle also sustains simultaneous damage
  • Usage Beyond Limits: Using the vehicle outside the stipulated terms mentioned in the policy can lead to the invalidation of claims arising out of such usage
  • War and Nuclear Perils: Losses due to war, rebellion or exposure to nuclear materials are explicitly excluded from the scope of this insurance policy
  • Unlicensed Driving: Damages caused by unlicensed or underage drivers
  • Influence of Drugs or Alcohol: Damages caused by driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
