Instant Loan Against your Shares

A Loan Against Shares allows you to pledge your listed shares as collateral to secure a Loan, without the need to sell your shares. ICICI Bank offers Loans up to ₹20 lakh.

To apply, you must be above 18 years of age, with a valid mobile number and e-mail ID. Additionally, you can pledge only listed shares as collateral for the Loan. The shares should belong to ICICI Bank’s list of approved shares.

You can borrow up to 50% of the value of your pledged shares, with a maximum loan amount of ₹20 lakh. The final Loan amount depends on market value of your shares.

You can apply easily through ICICI Bank Net Banking or the ICICI Bank's iMobile app. Simply log in, select 'Loan Against Shares' and follow the steps.

If the value of your shares drops then your overall credit limit may decrease, which in some cases may lead to your Account becoming overdrawn in case your outstanding balance becomes more than the revised credit limit. In that case, you can either pledge more shares which will increase your credit limit or repay the excess amount that you have withdrawn to regularise the Account. Please note that penal charges may be applicable on the overdrawn amount till the Account is regularised.
